Preparing Students for Tomorrow

Building Future-Ready Learners

Thinking about today will not prepare our students for tomorrow. The world our students are growing up in is changing faster than ever, and our schools must evolve with it. Preparing students for the future means equipping them with the tools, especially digital tools, opportunities, and confidence to thrive in a rapidly changing economy.

From Strong Beginnings to Strong Futures

As the proud parent of an MNPS early childhood scholar, I’ve seen firsthand the power of strong beginnings. As Director of Extended Learning, I worked to integrate early childhood standards and goals into before- and after-school programs, ensuring a consistent foundation for learning.

Experience That Expands Opportunities

As a former school administrator and in my role as Director of the Academies of Nashville, I partnered with local businesses to expand experiential learning, increase access to dual enrollment, and grow robust paid internship opportunities for students. I’ll bring this experience and strong community relationships that support it to continue building future-focused pathways for every student in our district.
